Are your products truly organic and vegan?

Yes. All Apothecuryous products are made using plant-based, vegan-friendly ingredients. Apothecuryous uses certified organic herbs, oils, butters and more in their products. All scent blends are unique blends of essential oils and done in house. The brand focuses on using potent natural ingredients, botanical extracts and minimally processed components whenever possible. Products are formulated without animal by-products, and the goal is to keep formulas clean, gentle, and environmentally conscious.

Do you test your products on animals?

No. Apothecuryous follows a cruelty-free approach and does not test on animals. The brand is committed to ethical skincare practices, ensuring that all products are developed with compassion and care from sourcing to final packaging.

Do you ship products outside of your local area?

Yes. While Apothecuryous frequently connects with local customers at events, products are also available for online ordering and shipping. Storage & Shelf Life

Do Apothecuryous products contain preservatives?

Our creams, lotions and sprays contain natural preservatives accepted by Whole Foods. Our oil blends and serums contain no water and do not require a preservative. These water-free products include vitamin E (tocopherol) to help delay rancidity.

Do I need to refrigerate my products?

No. Apothecuryous products do not need refrigeration or chilled storage and can be stored at room temperature. Best Lip Balm Ever and Embody stick deodorants may benefit from being placed in the refrigerator after shipping in summer or to a hot climate; this is not a requirement for ongoing storage.

How long can I keep my product?

Apothecuryous products are tagged with a Born On date, and most also have a Best By date. Creams and cream cleansers in jars have a shelf life of 2 years from the date of manufacture. No-touch products, such as lotions and sprays, have a shelf life of 3–5 years. Body oils, balms and hair oils have a shelf life of 3 years.

The length of time the preservative remains reliably effective is based on the type of product it is, as well as the type of container it is in. Jars of creams that require a finger or tool to remove, have a shorter shelf life due to the potential for contamination. Closed products like sprays or lotions have a longer shelf life because it does not need to be touched to be dispensed. Please always store creams with lids on, especially in wet environments like the shower. Creams and cream cleansers in jars may change color if the lid is not kept on between uses.

What if the texture or color changes, or my product separates after shipping?

Please contact Apothecuryous if you notice separation or an unexpected change in texture, color or scent, including after shipping. We can provide guidance for your specific product before you use it.
